Artist Statement
I have been passionate about public transit since I was 15, when I began sketching buses traveling through the Delaware Valley. My early work started with stick figures, but in 2006 I transitioned into more detailed sketch drawings, inspired by the buses, trolleys, and rail cars I photographed. Over the years, I’ve created more than 1,500 artworks and built a large collection of photos and videos celebrating public transportation.
In 2011, I became a member of The Creative Vision Factory, and in 2012 I held my first solo exhibition, which was attended by a large and supportive community. My work blends my love for transit history with artistic expression, capturing the design, structure, and spirit of the vehicles that move people every day. Through my ongoing blog and artwork, I continue to document and honor the evolution of public transit systems.
